Elaine Conrathe

Projects Director for LifeLink24

Elaine is the Projects Director for “LifeLink24”, which is the mercy expression of Mission24.
Elaine gave her life to Christ when she was 19 years old while working at a medical mission hospital in Kenya, East Africa. She discovered the dynamic of a living relationship with Jesus rather than just ‘keeping the rules’ to be totally transformational.

After completing her Nursing qualifications, she went on to serve as campus nurse while attending Christ for the Nations Bible College in Dallas, Texas. She then served with Mercy Ships within the Community Health Ed department as part of a small team, teaching basic health education to the women and children in the villages of West Africa.

Further to this, Elaine has worked using her nursing and home school education training in an orphanage in Zimbabwe, has run an infant refuge for orphaned babies in Burundi and served with MEDAIR working with the UNHCR on a peace and reconciliation project within the Russian Federation.

In recent years, she founded “LifeLink24” with husband Jonathan (Founder of Mission24) as a mercy response to widows and orphans in Rwanda and beyond. Elaine also runs the day to day book-keeping of Mission24 in between her busy role of wife and mother to three teenage sons and a golden retriever.
